If you need to raid the fridge beware of the foods you choose
1)Cheese, chicken, soy, yogurt, nuts and best of all, milk. The reasons why these would help you to sleep better is the fact that all these foods contain tryptophan, a precursor of serotonin.

2)Other foods that help increase the serotonin level are complex carbohydrates such as beans, seeds, potatoes, apples, pears and berries.
3)Vitamins B6 and B12 are required by your body to generate serotonin.
4)Leafy vegetables, whole grains and almonds are rich in Magnesium and are therefore also desirable to increase the quality of sleep.
Do stay away from caffeine, alcohol, fatty and spicy foods and artificial sweeteners like aspartame.
